Bio

Aleksandra Żmuda is a fourth-year painting student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, Poland. Aleksandra belongs to the Uniquists art group, founded on the initiative of Professor Grzegorz Ratajczyk.

Her paintings and drawings focus on animalistic themes. This subject is very close to her heart, as she spent time with these animals in her childhood, observing them, learning about their behaviour and loving them. Aleksandra says: I am fascinated by their form, expression and mannerisms. The sincerity of their behaviour, which we humans lack.
